Dressmaker is a crafting game inspired by real dressmaking. You choose a dress design and a fabric, cut out the pattern pieces and sew them together, then hand the dress to a customer, who you can satisfy or, if you like, sabotage.

It began as a free prototype on itch.io, first made by Free Lives in about three weeks and then worked on for another month or two; the page still lets you pay what you want. The full game is on Steam from Cozy Lives (published by Free Lives), released on 21 September 2026 for Windows and macOS at $14.99 (checked 30 October 2026).

Why no level: the full game's Steam page has no AI disclosure section, and we found no declaration from its developer, Cozy Lives. The free prototype on itch.io says no generative AI was used, but that declaration covers the prototype, not the full game, which has had more work since and has no declaration of its own.
