Lancer Tactics adapts the Lancer tabletop RPG into a turn-based tactics game about mechs. You build a squad from the system's frames, talents and core bonuses, and the developers say they have stayed very close to the tabletop rules; characters made in the COMP/CON companion app can be imported. Besides the planned story campaigns there is Instant Action for a single fight, and editors for your own maps and modules. It is single-player for now; the developers say multiplayer and game-master tools are not on the current roadmap.

It is by Wickworks. The itch.io page sells post-Kickstarter early access builds for $20 (on sale for $17 when checked on 30 October 2026), and its feature list marks both story campaigns as not done yet. The Steam page says "Coming soon" for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Why level 0: the itch.io page declares that no generative AI was used, and the developers also tag it "No AI". The Steam page has no AI disclosure section, so this label rests on the itch.io declaration.
